This tour is quite characteristic. You will be living inside a Trullo in one of the most fascinating towns in the world: Alberobello. Totally refurbished Trulli have all the comforts including kitchenette and accessories. Trulli are perfect to accommodate tourists. Excursions will be in the morning while you will spend your afternoon for activities such as wine tasting, olive oil tasting, cooking lessons, mozzarella making, bike tours and many others.

Day 1: arrival

Arrival at the airport. Departure by bus to Alberobello. Along the way there will be a stop to enjoy a great lunch at one of the main restaurants near the area of Alberobello. In the evening arrival at the hotel and accommodation in the rooms set up in the old houses of the restored trulli following the tradition of trullari masters.

Day 2: Alberobello

Breakfast at the hotel. This day is dedicated to the discovering Alberobello the "Capital of Trulli". The beauty and the large number of trulli still intact in Alberobello, have let UNESCO to recognise them as World Heritage Site. In the journey to discover Alberobello you will admire the beauty of the historic houses of the first inhabitants of the city in Apulia; people here are known to be very friendly. You can also reach a panoramic terrace from which you will see thousands of trulli at your feet to be explored in which lie small shops and small bars. Lunch and dinner free. We recommend trying the best grill restaurant in Apulia, called La Fontana, located in the heart of the town.


Day 3: Locorotondo

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure to Locorotondo, known to be one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, with its picturesque appearance made up of a patchwork of small vineyards distinguished by stone walls, patches of Mediterranean forest and stretches of olive groves surrounding ancient farms and thousands of trulli scattered in the districts. You can walk in the city center, circular and perched on top of a hill, between the narrow streets of a maze characterised by historic buildings that keep their bows and architectural details of the baroque style. In Locorotondo, you will learn another peculiarity of this place: the wine. It represents the largest production and economic source of the place, and this proves the great quality of the vineyards which allow a wide production of the product. Free lunch in Locorotondo. After exploring the town, we will return to Alberobello, dining at the hotel and later wine tasting in the trulli.

Day 4: Ostuni

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure to Ostuni, also known as the "White City." This definition comes from the quaint old town whose houses are painted white lime, thus making it a town with a particular charm. In addition, the city of Ostuni is also recognised for clean waters of its coast and the quality of services offered. Free lunch in the town then return to Alberobello and free evening.

Day 5: Matera

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure to Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit to the Lucan town will consist in exploring the streets and shops in the old town, culminating in the attraction of the town, the Sassi. Ancient cavities cut into the rocks by the man who was using them as a shelter and habitation since prehistoric times and up to no later than 50 years ago. After the tour we will return to Alberobello in the early afternoon, dining at the hotel and later tasting of olive oil in the trulli.


Day 6: Bari

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will be taken to the St. Nicholas Basilica to attend the Eucharistic mass. Once out of the basilica the guide will take you to the historic centre of "Bari Vecchia" (old Bari), where you will discover the history of the city, the scent and the colours that come from the most ancient houses. The tour through the narrow streets of the old town will culminate with a typical lunch in Bari. In the afternoon you will have free time to relaxation and shopping in an outlet located just outside the city of Bari. Finally return to Alberobello, dinner and free evening

Day 7: Polignano a Mare

Breakfast at the hotel. The morning will be spent at your discretion, and in the late afternoon, we reach Polignano a Mare, where you will be guided in the coastal city.The evening will culminate in a fantastic dinner based on fish, catch of the day, in one of the finest restaurants offering a fantastic sea view. Finally back to the hotel in Alberobello.

Day 8: departure

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure to the airport for the return home.
